Lovers’ Leap Trail

There are many trails located close to the area.  Lovers’ Leap Trail is a short one mile trail and is a must do.  The trail got its name from a local legend of an American Indian maiden jumping to her death when her sweetheart failed to return from a battle.  Additional details of this trail are available at this link.  Lovers’ Leap Trail is atop Rich Mountain just 5 minutes from the cabin.
